solar powered greenhouses in Lebanon?

Australia's Sundrop Farms uses solar power to desalinize salt water, cool greenhouses and water crops in them. So, could we do this on the Lebanese sea shore? Or maybe buy loads of desert land from neighboring countires and grow / build Lebanon 2, Lebanon 3...!
